Kensico Little League Announces Program For Four Year Olds
Kensico Little League is proud to announce program for four year olds and expanded programs for the young members of our community with the inclusion of Little League age four (anyone born before May 1,2005) into our program. Children Little League age 4 and 5 will play T-Ball with 6 and 7 year olds playing in our coach pitch Mustangs division. Kensico 9-10 Softball All-Stars Incredible Run Ends
The The Kensico 9-10 Softball All-Stars ended their incredible run last night, losing to South Shore 5-1. The girls fought hard, holding a 1-1 tie into the 4th inning. Sydni Holtz struck out 11 and gave up 6 hits. Kensico tied the score at 1-1 in the top of the 4th after Kristen Grumblatt doubled, advanced on a wild pitch and scored on a successful suicide squeeze bunt by Suzanne Gobstein with 2 outs. South Shore responded with a 2 out rally, posting 4 runs in the bottom of the 4th. We are all so proud of how far these players have come and look forward to the team hanging the District 20 pennant at Pat Henry Field.

Kensico 9/10 Softball Tournament Team Win District 20 Championship
Kensico defeated Ardsley 6-1 in the District 20 softball 9-10 year-old championship game at Volunteer Field yesterday. Kensico took the lead with timely hitting, scoring four runs over the first three innings. Brandi Coon had two hits and two RBI, and Kristen Grumblatt, Jenna Vigiletti, Elena Radesich and Jenna Saldi each added an RBI. Those runs were more than enough for Sydni Holtz who pitched a complete game allowing only four hits while striking out 12. Kensico will begin sectional play on Saturday, playing the winner of District 21 on Saturday at 4 p.m. at Sherman Park’s Volunteer Field.

Tony Manuele 12/18/1955 - 07/01/2008
It is with great sadness that we need to report the passing of Tony Manuele. Tony was a coach at Kensico Little League for the past seventeen years and he epitomized the spirit and dedication that we all try to emulate at Kensico Little League. Tony loved baseball and he was a great coach. He will be remembered as a great family man and a terrific friend and he will be missed.
